Liquid Level Sensors

Texzec has developed three liquid level sensors based on ultrasonic waves.

Two of the sensors measure a continuous change in liquid level, and the other determines when the liquid surface is above or below a fixed level. Important features that differentiate the continuous sensors from the competition include self-calibration, insensitivity to temperature variations and the ability to determine level from the very top to the bottom of a tank. The array type sensor can be mounted from the top, bottom or side of a liquid container and determines level in aerated, agitated, and foamed liquids. The helical type cannot determine level in highly aerated fluids but operates over a greater change in level and has the self-calibration and self-diagnostic features of the array sensor.

The discrete or fixed level sensor also operates in highly aerated fluids and has self-diagnostics, with the ability to report out if the sensor is malfunctioning.
